Does Navigating.art track changes made on the platform?

Tracking changes made on the Navigating.art platform is especially helpful for teams with multiple researchers working on a digital catalogue raisonné.

The platform currently offers three methods for tracking changes.

Time stamps. At the end of the artwork detail pages, you can find a time stamp that marks when an artwork was created or last updated. This information can be crucial for teams working asynchronously.

Version control. Every time a user clicks Publish, a new version of the entry is created. If users want to see past versions, they can request them through a support ticket. Please note that reverting pages and information on the platform to past versions is not possible at this time.

Last updated. It’s sometimes important to know who was the last person to update a catalogue entry or upload a digital resource. The Navigating.art platform tracks who makes changes to crucial information about an artwork and when they make it in the list view. Crucial information includes the catalogue number and the global ID.

You can add this information to the display by clicking the associated checkmarks in the drop-down menu.
